These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aye mobile application and all related services ("Service") operated by Rich Dodzi ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Aye, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

By downloading, installing, or using the Aye application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rich Dodzi. If you are using Aye on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Aye. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Aye with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

To access most features of Aye, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at dev.richdodzi@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
Each person may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to evade moderation actions or bans is prohibited and may result in permanent removal of all associated accounts.
You may browse public questions on Aye without creating an account. An anonymous session will be created automatically. Voting, commenting, posting questions, and following other users require a registered account.

Aye is a platform that allows users to post yes/no questions, vote anonymously on questions posted by others, view aggregated results and demographic breakdowns, comment on questions, and follow other users.
All votes are permanently anonymous. We will never disclose how any individual user voted on any question. Aggregated vote counts and demographic splits are public, but individual votes are not linked to specific users in any public-facing way.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

All content posted on Aye - questions, custom labels, comments, profile information, and images - must comply with the following standards:

You retain ownership of all content you post on Aye, including questions, comments, and profile information.
By posting content on Aye, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has been shared by others or is otherwise required for service operation.
By posting content, you represent and warrant that:
When you cast a vote, that vote becomes part of the permanent aggregated result for that question. Aggregated, anonymous vote data may be retained even after account deletion, as it forms part of the historical record of a question's result. Your individual vote is never attributable to you in any public display.

The Aye application, including its design, code, branding, wordmark, typography, and all content created by us, is owned by Rich Dodzi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of Aye without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us about improving Aye may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.

Aye may offer optional paid subscription tiers ("Pulse" and "Signal") that unlock additional features. Subscription details, pricing, and feature descriptions are presented within the app at the time of purchase.
All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable to your device. You are subject to the payment terms and policies of those platforms. We do not directly process or store payment card information.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation instructions are available in your device's App Store or Play Store account settings.
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Core features of Aye - browsing questions, voting, viewing results, posting questions, and commenting - are available free of charge and will remain so. We will never move core functionality behind a paywall.

All questions, comments, and images submitted to Aye are automatically reviewed by AI-powered content moderation systems before being published. Content that violates our rules is withheld from publication. You will be notified if your content is not approved, along with a reason category.
Flagged content and reported content may be reviewed by a human moderator within 24 hours. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion.
You may report content or users that you believe violate these Terms using the in-app report function. We will review all reports and take appropriate action. We are not obligated to act on every report or to share the outcome of our review with the reporter.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may contact us at dev.richdodzi@gmail.com to request a review. We will consider all appeals in good faith but our decision is final.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have:
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution - will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that:
Aye is a platform for anonymous opinion polling. Results reflect the opinions of users who chose to participate and should not be treated as scientific surveys, representative polls, or authoritative data on any topic.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RICH DODZI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We are not responsible for the content posted by users of Aye. We do not endorse any user-submitted content and expressly disclaim all liability arising from user content, including any reliance placed on such content by you or any third party.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rich Dodzi from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory local provisions.
If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom, Australian, or any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights you have under those laws.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at dev.richdodzi@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally. We will make a good-faith effort to respond within 30 days.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Aye shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or the Service. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of Aye after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
